Footsteps Of Silence Poem by Jill Munday

Footsteps Of Silence

As I sit in the silence and share with God each day.
I can hear his footsteps, tread along the way.
Slowly and in rhythm, they tread the path of time,
Always there before me, guiding one so blind.
We share these silent moments,
As I learn from his loving breath,
To follow his footsteps forever even unto my death.
For death will be just a moment,
A moment of darkness in time.
Then at the end of the moment, a vision so glowing and divine.
There before me in heaven, my Lord, my Saviour, my friend.
The one of the footsteps of silence,
I followed truly, to the end.
