For A Moment All Die Poem by Michael P. Johnson

For A Moment All Die

Just an instant a moment’s time
Surely without surprise
With righteous deeds or loathsome crime
Sinners and saints will rise

For life my God is but a while
Sample of Heaven’s Breath
A time to cry weep, laugh and smile
Before whiling in death

Only a while Lord, a moment’s rest
Until the time is right
Till rebels cursed, till children blessed
Stand at Your throne of light

Where judgment of souls will take place
When books are opened wide
When man and Judge come face to face
Where no place is to hide

Where all who’ve lived will hear the voice
Of God the great I AM
Crowning those with wisdom’s choice
By grace of Heaven’s Lamb

The living Christ Life’s Lord, Life’s King
Jesus all God, all man
Who died, for true life’s song to sing
Fulfilling Heaven’s plan

Rising as first to everlasting
As offering supreme
With angels singing trumpets blasting
For life’s eternal stream

Removing death’s crown forever
Ordained to see God’s face
From life, now nothing can sever
Christ servants raised with grace.....
