For Her Just As Well Poem by Francis Duggan

For Her Just As Well

The well dressed career fellow lives a double life
He does not feel guilt in cheating on his wife
Whilst his wife at home is minding their young children with his mistress in a high class restaurant he dine
And wash their well cooked food down with a few glasses of expensive wine

For a boost to his libido a small price to pay
Since a half an hour sex with her in her flat brings great joy to his day
Though by his beautiful mistress he is sexually satisfied
From his faithful and devoted wife he has a secret to hide

His wife wonders why the man she considers her soul mate
Has lost all interest in sex with her of late
Her sexual favors by him are no longer desired
She believes that from working too hard he is over tired

Though nowadays extra marital affairs are no longer rare
Of his infidelities she may never become aware
Cheating on his wife to him is his idea of a good time
And though to be kept as a secret is not a moral crime

His unsuspecting wife his evening meal for him prepare
But not all of his working day stories with her he does share
Of his extra marital affair her he will never tell
But of this one might say for her just as well.
