For My Mother Poem by Sandra Feldman

For My Mother

Rating: 5.0

There isn't a day
We're not together,
All the good you
Taught me,
Up front,
With, all the good things
You forced me to do
When I did not want to.

Yes, I am still me
But you, Mother dear,
Led me to clear pastures
And opened sincere skies
Where, thanks to you
I humbly became,
What you wanted me to.

A very touching poem that brought tears to my eyes and pinched the heart. So heartwarming and heartfelt. Everything a mother wants to hear from a beloved daughter is reflected in this marvelous poem. What more she could ask for in life? One of the most endearing tribute I have ever read. So beautifully written. Onto my Poem List.

The tribute glorifies the bond...the bond that allows us to learn the goodness in life
