For Rahat Indori Again
You passed away,
But your memories of
A political satirist
Have not!
You have passed away
But your laughter, comics,
Cracking of jokes,
Fun and humour have not!
Your winking of the eyes
And the saying of the things
With twists and turns,
Irony and doublespeak!
A poet as such you had power
To take anyone with your stride,
Making the politicians even
Burst into a laughter!
A dynamic poet with a thundering stage presence. Just went away so sudden. May gid bless his soul. A heartfelt tribute.
