For Sialia
A poet of note
in the days long past
he said what I just wrote
it will last it will last.
When they visit God's Acre
in the century next
they will know me as Quaker
but their eyes be perplexed,
for my skills they are given
they can never be learned
as a poet I'm driven
as a witch I'd be burned.
So, for those who don't like
what my pen puts to page
I say go, take a hike
you're not fit for the stage.
