For The Fairest Of Them All Poem by Leonard Ace Almalvez

For The Fairest Of Them All

Rating: 5.0

She is the only woman who captured my heart
The woman who changed me a lot
My only love for the rest of my life
Is the only woman I am calling Mama
I saw a lot of woman all over the world
Sexiest and most beautiful of your kind
Yet my heart still wants to be with you
‘Cause for me you’re my Snow White – fairest of them all.
There are times you scold and hurt me
I felt angry, lonely and thought of going away
Because I felt you never loved and you’re contemptuous,
But the nights you sneak to my bed and check me
The times I cry and you caress me
Proves that I am wrong and you love me
How epic it is when I get embarrassed and I did wrong
But for you I am the best, everything I did is best.
Remember those things you scold to me?
Those things taught me to be stronger and more proud.
The tears I shared with you; smiles I had with you
Are the reasons why I really love you.
This poem for you is from my heart
That can’t be put into words by my mouth
I am sorry for my sins and problems I gave to you,
For I questioned your love and hated you
Now I know what you’re words mean
My gratitude to you is the quantity of stars above multiplied to forever
Because I learned my lessons and you build me up
To become who I am and where we are
Again, I love you thank God I have you
Mama, and to your Mommy, Nanay, Momsie, Ermats and whatever you call her, Happy Mother’s Day
