For You Poem by Fade To Black

well, its a marvelous night for a moon dance
and I don't have you here in my arms
and when I look up in the sky tonight,
the stars shine down and bright.
They mock and laugh teasingly
as they can be with you, unlike me.

I smiled at them and laughed back
I told them you have him, when the sky is black.
All I have to do is close my eyes.
The stars are now furious and they cry.
I like their fury and anger
as it makes me wonder,
Is it some dream that you are mine?
