For Your Eyes Only Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

For Your Eyes Only

Rating: 2.7

Who in my lines
And in words saw a distance
Crossing the mirage towards oasis
This was a journey as hard
There were some flowers
As we met in the midst of storms
As you pick the dew
On the rose of your cheek
So are the memories
The once beloved of many hearts
For your eyes only
I had to travel all through life
That was scented by your love
The glances that had fallen
And that I thought had fallen
On every shadow of the moon
I looked in to your footsteps
Removing the sands of time

wowwww sadiq then I think this is for your eyes only........ FOR YOUR EYES ONLY Shalom, shalom, my beloved For your eyes only Did I not traverse this far… Crossing the mirage towards oasis Through cobbled dark blithering dreary alleys But with the scent of the jasmine in your love I could fight with coup de grace, all those omnivorous sorrows Sweep away those cobwebs of onerous burdens And now be able to wipe the dews On the rose of my cheek Shalom, shalom, my beloved For your eyes only See what I will do……. Among the chenille petals in the pimpernel of your love Let me add my own among them So that when you caress the chervil bouquet The chartreuse will break the silence And then my heart will be one with your estoteric fragrance Shalom, shalom, my beloved For your eyes only This is what I wish……. In the cosmogony of the numberless stars I wannabe that lantern of ethereal light The dazzling one among the brightest So that in the dance of the festival of lights My heart will swing with enrapturous delight And my life will be one with your panoramic smile. 07-03-2010
