Forbidden Love Poem by Dillon Keuthonymos Crawford

Forbidden Love

Why must I lie here awake?
Not able to sleep
I miss your touch
I miss your feel
I talked to you just hours ago
But those hours must have been years
For I lie here unable to sleep
I need you in my arms
I feel your lips pressed against mine
The feel of your chest embracing mine
The sensation of your hand on my body
The passion of holding your hand
Hearing your voice crawl all over my body
And hiding in my ears
Being lost in your gaze
Hypnotized by your eyes
I lie here alone
Cold
Please hold me close
Tears roll down my face
For it hurts so much
But it’s a forbidden love...
For you
Kiss me
Hug me
Love me
Miss me
Be you
For that is who I love
