Foreign Beauty Poem by Akujuobi Chijioke

Foreign Beauty

Never I behold my eyes such wonder
The earth quakes her presence like lightenings & thunders;
Bind your mind & enslave your heart be her duty
Surrender you must to the foreign beauty.

Like red wine she heals the wounded soul
Roses smeared with sweet cinnamon her fragrance bestows;
White like snow on winter falls, taste so fruity
Braise yourselves for the clamour of the foreign beauty.

Lie I in wait in the scrubs to evade her lair
Long blonde hair, silky like those of a geldamare,
Lips wet with seduction, lures to its succulent juicy
A sheep led to the slaughter I am O! Foreign beauty....
