Forever A Wanderer Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Forever A Wanderer

Rating: 5.0

Seems wandering into a forest
Of wild souls with suppurating claws
Life has become a rotten leaf
Swept away by treacherous gale

Seems dipping feet into a bonfire
Catching flying cinders in the wet eyes
Life has become a weathered petal
Crushed under feet to get lost in soil

Seems lips flow like molten wax
Changing shape often to speak in vain
Life has become a dying lamp sketching
Shadows of monsters on the wall

Seems thoughts are tied to old rituals
Old enough to accept and live with
Life has become a paper boat sailing on
Runnel of time fearing an unexpected storm

its good but you must try and take charge of your life rogues abound everywhere and only you can for yourself care guard yourself a voice always tell me make a wise decision no one else will lose if you let ego overrule be thoughtful life has many hurdles and you alone must row your boat don't let anyone else fiddle not even this silly poet interfering no not really trying to voice my own experiences in this vast valley full of bigotry
