Forever Black Poem by Miss Fairytale

Forever Black

Rating: 3.3

I walk towards the sun
My body limp and numb,

I see you
Standing just beyond the abyss
Blocking light which once
would cause my pupils to contract.

You're watching me with haunted eyes
Burning fear into my heart
Turning love into lust, into hate.

I reach out a rotten left arm to wave
Outstretched fingers;
fragile in decay.

You slip through the dirty joints
Fluid and cruel
Dripping into the hole like molasses.

With a start
I awaken from this dream
Eyes leaking
Heart screaming

Frantic tears scorch my cheeks
And I find you laying next to me
Sleeping like the dead.
