Love is soprecious
We must hold on to it
Never let it slip away
Not even for one second
I love you madly
And I wonder if this is
A dream or finally
My reality!
I've made a serious
Commitment
Taking leave of my senses
As I struggle inside
To set myself free
From the dark places
That have restricted and
Suffocated my feelings!
I've waited so long
To meet someone like you
Holding all my passion inside
Crying out in frustration
Hoping to reach beyond
All limitations
So that my heart and mind
Would see the beauty of
Your existence
Once and for all!
I long to be able to reach
This transitory state
So that we can be
Effortlessly together in
Perfect harmony!
You and I together
In a reservoir of love
Where passion is not
Easily discouraged
And we can build
Our relationship beyond
All limitations
To co-exist as one!

really its always an honour to read your poems... Sooo nicely witten... Describing your inner feelings, , for love and pain and frustration.... 10+++++ awesome work.. Loved it...
But of course...Love & Romeo...a poetic couple made for one another! As per usual...a very fine penning.Thank God for the rain the past 2 days, yes...My friend cooked us up a pair of sunnyside-ups on the front trunk-hood of his Alfa, on Wednesday(109 degrees in the sun) ! I said to him...Yo, Stix, do you know that in Italy, they put you in jail for using an Alfa Romeo as a stovetop! Then I asked him if he had remembered to clean off the hood before playing outdoor mobile chef...He said yes...and I said, so pass the twins while I flip the bacon that i started cooking on your back hood! Thought he'd have a stroke...GREASY BACON ON MY ALFA? ! (of course I was only kidding with him, however, being that the 2 of us have been lifetime chronic practical jokers, he at first believed I had done this) ...He said S***! How long can I have you put in Jail for THAT? ! i SAID 'No time at all..This is New York, not Italia' HaH! Thought you might like my little 'Bronx Tale' P A X! ~fJr~
