Forget Poem by Shylah Clarissa Turcotte

Forget

I must forget you.
I must forget your name,
your face, your kiss, the taste.
I must forget your warm embrace.
I must forget your love, your touch, our song
the way you made me cry all night long.
I must forget how close we were
and remember that you have chosen her.
I must forget the way you walk, the way you talk,
and everything you used to say
and remember you have gone away.
I need to forget the way you laugh, the way you grin
and all the little dimples on your chin.
The way you held me all so tight
when we were together everynight,

and all the time that wen on by.

I must remember your gone forever
