Forgive

The form of Chess
in which silly mistakes
are taken back to improve the game
and can be used as excuse for loss,
that form needs another name.

Forgiveness Chess, I suggest.

As Time will, Time will sieve
and I will ask, 'Tonight,
shall we play Forgive? '

i ask for forgiveness when my mate says: Bri, get OUT! ! ! And NEVER COME BACK! ! ! I like the poem. it makes sense. chess for dummies? i'd probably fail at that also. you have just enough rhyming to make the poem fun. forgive/sieve** is wonderful. (to be continued) .....
