Fortress Poem by Elmer Sayre

Fortress

Smooth silken skin
Warm body, virginal breath
Wanting more
Early morning paradise.

We built a fortress
To hide both of us
Iron grills, electric eyes
In our sanctuary in Initao.

All is redundant my sweet love
We are already hidden, both of us
In the daily routine we make.

During the early mornings
With our warm bodies, virginal breaths
We share ‘til eternity..
