Fragile: Fallen Angel

angels wings are tired
overused worn torn
wings won’t shield her
from the rain anymore
can’t give her shade
refuge from the sun
little fallen angel’s burning
in a heap on the ground
barely breathing
the angel stripped of her grace
by walking and giving
amongst human beings
who are greedy and taking
taking pieces of her wings
like souveneirs
