Because When She thinks about how it use to be
When the sun use to shine on her and
The clouds with the rain were so far away,
Because when she was little she was about 5
When the problems of today were no where near,
When everything was perfect nothing to worry about
Just her and her smile.
But then she got older
When she learned how to walk on her 2 feet, Speak with her 2 lips
Because that's all they were for.
But NOW everytime she walks out her front door
She runs never wanting to come back.
The bruises and scares that were cleansed while she was no where near home.
But once she steps back in the front of her home
The pain is calling her telling her to come in
And enjoy but little does she.
The pain of tomorrow is the pain of today
Because she tries to escape
But no where to escape to,
So she stays in her room in a corner with her legs to her chest
And her head in her legs escaping
The person whose shadow stands right outside the door
She tries to hide she tries to stay quite
But that shawdow knows shes there.
But On that next day she walks outside her house
Building up courage to never come back
Wiping the tears she once cried
Making her that little 5 year old girl again
Whose clouds were once there where no where to be found
Because when she looks up
All she see is a Sun shining on her.
Because N O W shes finally F R E E...
