Free Falling Poem by Christon SykesSmith

Free Falling

Falling forever
Never to hit the ground
Nothing to hold u down
Nothing except a frown
Whip it off your face
Get back in your place
Before you hit the ground and go.
SPLAT
And that is that
or
You could have a smile
And it would carry you for miles
Seeing the world for what it is one big school
Play when it is time to play
But work when it is time to work
Cuz if you don't and decide to play
It's more likely to be your last day
Of happiness and freedom
You'll find yourself locked up in this play pin we call earth.
Instead of flying above.
