Freedom Poem by Jappane Human

Freedom

Rating: 5.0

Trusty, dusky, vivid, true.
With eyes of gold and bramble-dew.
Steel true, and blade straight, the great artificer who made my mate.
Honor, anger, valor, fire.
A love that life could never tire.
Death quench or evil stir, the mighty master gave to her.
Teacher, tender, comrade, wife.
A fellow-farer true through life.
Heart whole and soul free, the August father gave to me.

This thought came from this poem a few lines from Kahil Gibran........ about your children.....'You may give them your love but not your thoughts. for they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but n ot their souls, for their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.' (The Prophet) I can see you have a very wise father. Keep writing you have a gift for it.
