Freedom Poem by Alexandra Motschmann

Freedom

Economic security and independence
Both very important
Having enough for a normal existence
For every inhabitant

Free speech and free conscience
Without angst and neither fear
Free art and free science
Open for what might appear

No cages of prejudice around
No sword of terror in the hand
Cosmopolitan and earthbound
To growing progress a servant

Tolerance to all religions
Open to all intercultural customs
Without any aggressions
Enriched with worldly wisdoms
