Friday For Future Poem by Alexandra Motschmann

Friday For Future

The kid's going on the barrikades
and take the school off
and instead using the rollerblades
as they are mostly well off
their parents need to use the car
as it is really really far
at least one mile
here an ironic smile.

The kid's go on the streets
and demonstrate for a better future
in the hands the songsheets
to attend their morning leacture
the idea is for charity's sake
but in the end still a fake
as there is no change in the performance
everything is of no importance

Friday for future - A nice try
And tomorrow we fly

The present we do not change
That is really strange
