Freedom Of Nature Poem by Kasandra Walker

Freedom Of Nature

On the other side where men roam free,
That's the place I want to be,
Sitting in the shade cast by an old oak,
Being able to sit and just soak,
The sun, the water, the wind and the wild,
Staring in awe like an infant child
The sound of the brook hitting the rock,
The whisper of the wind in my ear,
The sound of the bird who just woke up,
And I know that my freedom is here.
