Frenzy Fogs Poem by John Sensele

Frenzy Fogs

Dissent discomforts demagogues
In whose eyes lies and spies in the same boat
Mustn't press for own views unless synagogues
Painted them as saints with no dent in a snow white coat

Otherwise demagogues will flog
Any contrary views with a wicked whip
To repress recent dissent in their log
Book whose hook spooks can't keep

Challenging veins of vengeful vitriol
That lashes out to bash vital views vilified
Verily as if damned demagogues' patrol
Punished and banished banners of peace petrified

At prospects of peace promenades
Risking wrecking risible rogues
Who in their droves alongside assumed aids
Violate and annihilate dissenters who condemn clumsy clogs at the onset of frenzy fogs.
