Frequency Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Frequency

The frequency.
Of decency.
Has ended.
With decadence.
And immorality.
Mortal to the human race.
Takes over.

This chase to destruction.
Instigated by corruption,
And blatant breaking of laws.
Shredded into pieces.
Nonstop from the top.
By a leadership hand picked.
To dump these bags they've packed,
Smeared with their own...
Created crazed to addict conflicts.
Upon the people as if confetti.
In ways to leave them poisoned.
With a belief their entitled rights,
Have been stripped and kicked around.
Where they can be found on the ground,
Trashed.
By those who show no respect,
For rules to upset their way of life.

How easy it is,
To dupe, deceive and trick.
People to believe,
They are needed to parade themselves...
As heroes.
Unconsciously protecting deception!

The frequency of decency has ended.
As decadence and immorality.
Mortal to the human race,
Shredding all...
That had been once kept to believe,
Precious.
Stripped apart then dropped,
From the top...
As if confetti.
Claimed in need to be,
Defended and protected by deceivers.
Thieving in high places.
Observing with fingers crossed.
