I was thinking of you today
And so I started to pray
I just had to thank the Lord
For giving you to me
I asked a while ago
For someone I can talk to
And I never did expect
A person like you
And when I’m in times of need
You know just what to say
And you know just when to say it
I can never thank you enough
Or the Lord
But I want you to know
That I appreciate you very much
Thank you for being such a good friend
