Friends Poem by Haley Brown

Friends

I always thought they were
Supposed to be there by your side.

If soemthing goes wrong,
Aren't they supposed to be there to help?

Whatever happened to our,
Laughs,
Long talks and
Our endless walks?

We no longer talk,
I don't know what went wrong.

I miss hearing,
The loud echo of our laughter.

Also, the never ending walks
To rid us of our day's frustration.

The friends I once had,
At the last sign of change,
They did what they said they would never.

When I walk down the hall
I hope to hear the 'Hi.' or 'Goodbye.'
I've longed for.

Can't things go back to the way they used to be?
