Aye, we lived it for sure and in every season;
Love has finally risen and there's no award.
If my emotions could only reason;
It should free us from this court.
In longing I waited for the unexpected,
When your friends exposed their concern,
In good faith ranting whilst pulling their stern.
In belonging I hated to be unprotected,
When your friends exalted my disposition,
In good raid haunting and with recrimination.
In respect I belated the desire affected,
When your friends declared their love a spin,
And could wait daunting this desire from within.
Aye, I lived it for sure and in every season;
Love has finally risen and there's no award.
My emotions could only reason;
It can surely free us from this court.
