Friends Of Mine Poem by Trexzyl Joy Felizardo

Friends Of Mine

I can jump on a cliff but still be alive,
I can shot myself but still I’ll survive.
I can stab my heart still you’ll hear a beat,
My soul will float in air like a lifeless piece of sheet.

I can surpass all of this with the help of my friends,
Whom I am counting on until my time ends.
They are always there through good times and bad,
They make me laugh when I feel sad.

They’re my tranquilizer when I’m in pain,
They are my shield on a tormenting rain.
They give colors to a painting that is plain,
We’re connected together like an unbreakable chain.

There comes a time that we’ll be far apart,
And that will definitely break my heart.
So if I can, I’ll endure not to cry,
Even when it’s time to say “goodbye”
