Friends They're All Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Friends They're All

Rating: 5.0

He's a friend all along who travels,
She's a friend, who as wife with you dwells,
When unwell, help in hand
A doctor's best of friend,
And virtues, death when at the door hails.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Friends come in many a feather. This verse tells who act as friends in different situations. But when death finally rings the doorbell, virtue alone can be a good friend.

All they are friends but virtue is the best. Taking this theme you have composed this poem so beautifully.

All along our life, we have friends of many kind....! A friend is one who shares our joys and sorrows and shows personal interest in us and helps us in our need! But when Death comes to invite us, the only friend who can accompany us is virtue! Great thought!

'Great thought' when is said the credit goes to the Subhashita I use as the base. And I accept with thanks.
