Friendship Defined
It dangles there
Shimmering on
Fragile wings of gossamer;
Our thoughts
Meeting across a great divide
Stretching out
To reach across the void of time
Our words travel
Through the boundaries of cyber space;
Reaching out
With understanding words of comfort.
Free to be ourselves
Without facades and false pretenses.
We're kindred spirits
You and I...
Strangers
Who somehow became friends.
Very well expressed, humanly lovely and touching. One can feel the soft and lovable sincerity of a true friendship.

I absolutely adore the flow and style of this poem! “Free to be ourselves without facades or false pretenses” it really spoke to me about how often we are defined by false labels.
