From Dawn to Darkness

Look to the horizon!
The light of Dawn has finally come!
Praise be to the light that saves us!
Rejoice in its warmth!
Let the light wash over you!
And cure you of all your woes!

What is this?
Our light again dims?
But where was our day?
Oh light of Dawn, why now have you forsaken us?
Have we done wrong in your eyes?
How can we again find your favor?

Again in Darkness we are…
Forsaken by our light…
We stand alone against this threat…
Our hope went away with the light…
Tomorrow will never come…
All we have is this dreaded eternal night…

There is great drama being expressed in this lovely poem of yours. I agree with Serenity Prayer's comments full heartedly. Well writeen & another one with a great flow to it.

The cheque was spent that the shearer earned,
and the sheds were all cut out;
