From Jing Lake To Enter Imperial Court To Yueyang, Say Goodbye To Zhang Yan’gong

★ From Jing Lake to Enter Imperial Court to Yueyang, Say Goodbye to Zhang Yan’gong

☆ Poetry by Wang Ju (656-746, Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

For five years have worshipped emperor at dawn
In Three Xiang met old official
Just now stop row a small boat
All the morning fair comment
Remote trees hide in the smoke
At the horizon Yangtze River shakes
In Emperor Town run dreams quickly
Full of wind flutter, returning sail
