From Living Life And Nature Poem by Francis Duggan

From Living Life And Nature

From living life and Nature we learn every day
And we never do stop learning or so 'twould seem that way
Till the Reaper decides our time is up whenever that will be
In Nature every day we live new wonders for to see
I have lived for many Seasons since to manhood I did grow
But of life and Nature I realize so little I do know
It is not for the love of song or for the joys of Spring
But to proclaim their borders the wild born birds do sing
From the wise mentors of our younger years great insights we did gain
Lessons they learned from life passed down to us for life with us remain
But the more you get to know the little you know you know you come to realize
And that knowledge can be humbling should not come as a surprise
Natural knowledge is for everyone not for the chosen few
And from life and Nature every day we learn something new.
