From Port Louis Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

From Port Louis

Rating: 5.0

Life is like a planted tree!
But whether it grows or not, i don't know.

Message from Port Louis!
A plant,
Compared to life;
A mind full in control.

Lips,
Tips of the tongues and the evidence around;
But, i'm like a lion in the forest of Africa.

What brings light is now blown away! !
What brings love is kept in the dark;
Like earthworms dying in the cold winter,
But, where are the birds to eat them up?

Tactical advantage!
Like the use of the hybrid;
Wine and Spirits without accolades,
But who the cap fits must always wear it.

Place to place,
Race to embrace!
If it is not in the Bible then, forget it;
To trace the truth.

A matter of the Cow to bring about the Milk!
One world of many colours,
With a message from Port Louis.

A humble port with a view,
A planted tree as life itself!
You are what you think;
With the ink beside you,
But the wild honey will sweeten the sour.

At times in Life,
You have to throw away some items!
Able to move forward,
To enable you to stand up straight! !
Facing the world with your works.
