From The Garden To The Cross

He set His face like a flint
There was nothing that He would hold back
He was determined to go to Calvary
There was nothing that would change that
In His prayer time with the Father
He had said...not my will but Thine
As always He was a man of His Word
Praise God He kept it! ...everytime!

Imagine if you will a God
Who would love His creation so
To humble Himself and become a man
For the Salvation of His soul
In spite of our sinning against Him
His love had forgiveness in mind
Repentance the pathway to glory
What a Father so loving and kind

While we were even yet sinner's
Jesus went to Calvary's Cross
He died the Just for the unjust
So we wouldn't suffer eternal loss
As hard as though it may seem to believe
There's a saving faith for you
Jesus went Himself to the garden to pray
Maybe it's time you started praying too!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
