Frosted Land Poem by Mehran Rashidzad

Frosted Land

Rating: 5.0

In this frosted land
I can feel your coldness in my hand
And when I want to turn back
Everything is so white and black
Abandoned with my melancholy
Nothing to feel but agony
And her smile of ice
silent as snow, sudden as demise
And when she casted the spell
My life turned to be like a living hell
She turned everything to snow but left me a flame
And left me the only one to blame
My blood’s frozen in my veins
Wandering aimlessly through the remains
Living like a parasite and she’s the host
In this frosted land I’m lost
