Fruit Poem by Warren Augustus de Guzman

Fruit

Rating: 4.5

It's a great sunny day to pick fruit,
for all the needs of your body and soul.
Ripe mangoes of bright yellow,
To simmer in your mouth a sweet so mellow.
Melons plump and round,
To liven up your taste buds with vibrant sound.
Zesty oranges by the dozen,
To quench your thirst or flavor your mutton.
Apples for each and every day,
To keep the pangs of drowsiness away.
A crazy selection of rambutan,
To satisfy your need from exotic lands.
And last but not least, a bag of grapes,
To feast on in the lounge with leisure and grace.
