Fueled By Rage Poem by Myrtle Glo Oliquino

Fueled By Rage

Rating: 5.0

Piece by piece the thread gives out
Inch by inch my patience shortens
Alas today, the light has dimmed out
I realized you're of no importance.

Drop by drop you've drained my peace
Pretending innocence while acting out rudeness
Damn, this cannot be paid out by any kiss
I simply ask for basic human goodness.

You claim to be misunderstood
Sheepishly feigning blamelessness
Chin up high you think you're too good
With no plain manners you highlight worthlessness.

Stomp by stomp on broken hearts you tread
Smug-faced and not giving a care at all
Once our help to you's used up, we're dead
I wonder, in love with you, why did I even fall?
