Full Circle Poem by Biff McGuire

Full Circle

What does it take to come ‘round full circle?
Years of trouble and misery?
When the Lord reaches down and gives us a pull
Do we open our eyes and begin to see?

If it never come with a smooth progression
The ups and downs start to take a toll
Is it’s only cure a serious session
At the bottom of life, to save our souls

The reasons are not important now
The plan has begun and results will follow
And who cares if; or when, or how
It’s refilling the love in a heart that’s hollow

When all is better they’ll pass it along
Start paying it forward to family and friend
Overcoming the weight of when all seems wrong
In life's full circle, that's nearing its end.
