Future Seen Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Future Seen

Rating: 5.0

I am broken
That I know
Damaged good
Dried up
To core
Just a stump
Is all I am left
Lifeless shell
Pearl lost
In theft.
Barren dunes
Quite moonless
Nights
Colours bleached
From tattered hide
You too will
Soon let me go
Like old times
Take solitary strolls
Nalini

'Barren dunes Quite moonless Nights Colours bleached From tattered hide' wonderful lines, brilliant in descriptive power, loved this and the earlier lines, but I grieve for your pain and will not let you go :) eyes tired but when I can I will look for you, keep writing :)
