Futuristic Utopia Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

I contemplate how in the future poems will
Be created in Groups and Societies until
Epics are written, and Odes they are spoke,
From evening to daybreak, from when they awoke.

Poetesses and Poets will meet weekly,
In Groups and Societies for all to see,
How new poems are created when they do meet,
To put together on this poetic sheet.

A theme will be chosen when they enter the hall,
On a subject suggested by one and all.
Poems will be written in verses that scan,
Spoken Word by Word, by each woman and man.

These Poets will set a new type of Art,
As spoken by each one, but who will start
This new way of writing, line by line,
Hoping the poems will scan and rhyme?

Poems will not be written by one poet alone,
But by one or more, in tandem, speaking on the phone.
Till verses are writ or recorded on disk,
I'm sure that this new method will become a Hit.
