Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.
Standing vis-à-vis, face-to-face
Holding a tete-e-tete
At Rajghat,
Saluting Gandhi,
Paying homage to
With folded hands
And the floral tributes falling over
Scattering as petals of one's respect.
An overseas Gandhi lover fro far,
A movementeer,
A civil rights activist
On a mission and a vision
Sharing his with Gandhi,
Holding parleys with,
Gandhi and Gandhism,
Lifting a leaf of non-violence
Out of Gandhian Studies.
