Do you like to go to garage sales
And pick through all the “stuff? ’
It seems like once you start collecting
You can never get quite enough

So many things to choose from
Ah yes, it’s so much fun
Sometimes once you buy something
You kind of wonder where it’s from

You’ve heard the phrase many times
One person’s junk is another’s treasure
Just looking for that special thing
Does bring me so much pleasure

For me it started with a painting
And then a couple more
Pretty so the walls were filled
I had paintings galore

And then it was a magnet
Cute and for the fridge
After awhile there were so many
Like stickers on the luggage

Chimes are always nice
Got that tinkling sound
I’ve got so many amazing ones
The best collection around

It’s been a lot of fun, you know
It brings others a broad smile
To see my collection from garage sales
Stop and look at them awhile!
