Garden Musings Poem by Janie Wassler

Garden Musings

My garden gives me a sense of beauty
Just like a soft and touching melody

Like a lytic I feel was written just for me

A clean house to relax in. Scented candles burning

Speaking of scented candles, a Jacuzzi with bubbles whisking me away
To another place another time

Where we were alone and in love
And more important in romance
Did that die?
Or did we kill it?
Drive over it with a mini van?

Or did you just nonchalantly walk away?
Cuz it was easier

Hope you found what you were looking for
But I doubt it

Back to my garden
And sunnier places!
