Ghetto night
Suddenly, electricity is gone,
Left wondering the time it will be switched on,
Cause we will be living in darkness,
And searching candles for a brightness.
Now boys and girls meet at night,
But the time will not be right!
No parents notice where the teens are going,
But they will be wondering what they are doing?
Moon and stars will be shining,
Adults gather at fire for chatting,
Listening to the sound of dogs barking,
While infants will be playing and crying.
After a dinner,
They will be no time for hide and seek,
As our mothers will be calling our names,
And preparing time to sleep...
