Ghosts Poem by Harley My Last Name

Ghosts

I went on a Halloween Night for a travel
through the night.
For it was the night after I died.
Flowing through the air and going through
objects.
I visit a few people but not the one
who mourns the most.
I'm afraid of their reactions at first.
For no one knows how my child will
act.
She has lost me in body now although
I never left her.
I sit over her and watch her tears
drip like running water.
For I am the only one who sees the
tears.
The tears are songs of rhythm as they
fall one by one or two by two.
By night' end I watch her fall asleep
in piles of tears on the pillow she
lies her head upon.
