If you dare talk your heart out to the world,
The road you walk becomes a rough terrain;
Though honesty is something admired,
It leads to piquant situations in life.
God sees your heart but man sees just your face;
So, people wear a mask to dupe the world;
Things go by pomp and show most of the times;
The mask succeeds where face real cannot.
But speaking is a craft and art, we learn;
The politician’s tongue has learned the art;
Well-crafted lies appear better than truth;
The gift of the gab isn’t given to all.
You need not speak all that you have in mind;
You should not tell all that you know to all;
You must be wary of to whom you speak;
You must not empty heart unto strangers.
