Gift To The Newborn Poem by Ann Worndl

Gift To The Newborn

Wealth isn't mine to share with you,
nor would you want my gold
to buy the earthly things.
But let me give you something given me
by one whose gentle hand
would bring you love
for all eternity.
Open your heart and take this gift from Him
who came so close when I was born
that He rubbed off
and left me with enough of Him
to share my legacy with 'kings.'.
